Thoughts from a happy founder
We Unite has been existing for more than 18 months now and I feel it’s time to sum up, to reflect and think back…
I might have told the story a couple of times – but I was asked, by ArtRebels, to do a campaign on female entrepreneurship. I was glad to do this job and teamed up with 4 lovely ladies. We developed and conceptualized and made the foundation for how We Unite is nowadays. Those girls had to say goodbye to We Unite due to their master thesises.
Time changes and so do teams, both sport teams and work teams.
Now, after a period with stagnation, We Unite has come back and we are on fire, we really are.
The team has actually expanded from 2 persons to 10 within 7 months. I am a happy founder! I faced that it was hard to encourage people, to make the passionate about what they’re doing and to keep people on their toes.
But them team we have now consists of Alison and I and 8 lovely bloggers that share their stories – positive as negative. And they all seem very passionate in everything they do, and that makes the founder a happy camper and this passion is really catching.
I can’t wait to meet all 8 bloggers this Saturday at the We Unite Headquarters (which actually is my 2-roomed apartment). We have a great agenda with idea sex, talk on future We Unite ideas, brainstorming and loads of food.
Happy thoughts from a happy founder…
