Will the big dream come true?
Everyday I have to deal with this question. Everyday I wonder “what does it take to make the big dream come true?” and “do I have the ability to make the dream come true?”
With big dreams comes big expectations.. and this blog is about how I handle them.
“What does it take to make the big dream come true?”
To me, it is a question about studying hard and collecting enough knowledge to reach your gold.
For example, I went to Krabbesholm to study architecture and the creative process and two weeks before my second test at The Royal Danish School of Architecture I was building models and drawing daily.
“Do I have the ability to make the dream come true?”
I think this is a personal question about believing in yourself and of course, as I said, studying hard.
I don’t know exactly how to handle this question – but every time people say “no” or “not accepted” I don’t cry, I think life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning how to dance in the fucking rain. I think that’s important if you really believe in your project.
At the moment I’m waiting for the answers from my latest tests at The Royal Danish School of Design and Architecture and this question is torturing me. On the other hand I now at the moment this is what I want and if they won’t accept me this year I will for sure try again next year.
I guess you will have to wait and see. In the main time I decided not to just sit and wait but started to work on a old business dream. Who knows if everything goes well I might have great news even if I’m not going to enter my dream education this year.
This post is very personal for me and was difficult to write. I thought I would write the post when I received the last answer but realized We Unite is all about process.
